It’s always a privilege to photograph weddings that are not only visually stunning but deeply personal and Vicki & Rich’s Day at the magnificent Ettington Park Hotel in Warwickshire was exactly that. Surrounded by gothic grandeur and sweeping countryside, this celebration was packed with laughter, heartfelt emotion, and truly unforgettable moments.

With its neo-Gothic architecture, dramatic staircases, and romantic grounds, it’s a dream setting for couples looking for an elegant yet relaxed wedding day. The team here are always a joy to work with supportive, warm, and totally on top of everything.
Personal Touches & Genuine Emotion
From the start, Vicki & Rich designed a wedding day that reflected their personalities, values, and shared passions.
The ceremony was especially emotional, Rich’s son, Avery, delivered a beautiful reading, followed by heartfelt words from Rich’s mother, Susan. There wasn’t a dry eye as tears flowed freely, including from Rich’s “best woman” and daughter, Aurora, who shared an incredibly touching moment handing the wedding rings over. It’s these deeply human connections I live to capture.
A Celebration with Heart (and Rhythm!)
As personal as the ceremony was, the couple’s love of 1940s music and vintage style infused the entire celebration. During the wedding breakfast, the nostalgia dial was turned up to eleven thanks to the amazing Simon Partridge, whose smooth renditions of wartime classics like “Kiss Me Goodnight Sergeant Major” had everyone smiling, swaying, and reminiscing.
And let’s not forget Rich’s clear love for motorcycles, an unexpected yet fun twist that added a unique charm to the day’s styling and decor.
Laughter, Tears & Stories to Remember
From the emotional speeches (a perfect blend of tears and laughter) to the warm, inclusive atmosphere created by the couple and their loved ones, it was the kind of day that reminds you just how magical weddings can be. There was so much love, joy, and authenticity at play and I felt truly honoured to be part of it
