It was an absolute privilege to photograph the wonderful wedding of Alice & Wei at the stunning Moddershall Oaks in Staffordshire. Their wedding day was a perfect celebration of love, family and culture, thoughtfully bringing together traditions from different backgrounds to create a truly unique and memorable experience for everyone involved.
From the moment the day began, there was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the venue. One of the highlights was the traditional tea ceremony, an important and meaningful part of the celebrations that allowed family members to come together and honour cherished customs. Later in the day, Alice & Wei changed into traditional attire, adding even more colour, elegance and cultural significance to an already beautiful wedding.
As a documentary wedding photographer, I love capturing the genuine moments that unfold naturally throughout the day, and there were so many of them. From laughter and emotion during the tea ceremony to the reactions of family and friends throughout the celebrations, every part of the day told its own story. Alongside these natural moments, we also created a selection of timeless portraits and those all-important must-have photographs that every couple wants to treasure for years to come.
Moddershall Oaks provided the perfect backdrop, with its beautiful surroundings, stunning lakeside setting and fantastic wedding facilities. A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at Moddershall Oaks who, as always, were absolutely fantastic and helped ensure everything ran smoothly throughout the day.
Special thanks must also go to the bridesmaids and groomsmen who were brilliant from start to finish and a pleasure to work alongside. Most importantly, thank you to Alice & Wei for trusting me to capture such an important chapter of your lives. It was a joy to spend the day with you both.
